Race A återställdes till full tävlingsstatus på förarnas begäran, efter att ha hållits som en demonstration 2016. Invigningsceremonin innehöll ett sällsynt framträdande av konceptbilen Lamborghini Marzal, körd av Prince Albert II .
Tre parader hölls under helgen:
- En motorcykelparad för att fira 70-årsdagen av det enda Motorcykel Grand Prix som hölls i Monaco den 17 maj 1948, med MotoGP- världsmästaren och Monaco-bo Wayne Gardner .

Porsches 70-årsjubileum , med Jacky Ickx i hans 1981 Le Mans -vinnande Porsche 936 , och hans dotter Vanina som kör en Porsche F1- bil.
- En F1-arvsparad, med förare inklusive John Watson , Emanuele Pirro , Josh Hill (son till Damon ), Mika Häkkinen ( vinnare i Monaco 1998 ), Eddie Irvine , Thierry Boutsen , Karun Chandhok och Riccardo Patrese ( vinnare i Monaco 1982 ).
