Lokflottan i Pakistan består för närvarande enbart av diesellokomotiv som ägs och drivs av Pakistan Railways . Ånglok används inte längre i Pakistan, förutom i arvståg . Alla lok servas på Pakistan Locomotive Factory i Risalpur , Khyber Pakhtunkhwa .

Pakistan Railways har 29 elektriska lok av klass BCU30E numrerade 7001–7029. Dessa är brittiskbyggda lok på 3 000 hästkrafter för 25 kV AC . De förvaras ur bruk eftersom luftledningarna är otjänliga på grund av stöld av koppar.
