The Art Institute of Dallas i Dallas, Texas, USA , är en privat högskola med vinstsyfte som ägs och drivs av Miami International University of Art & Design . Art Institute of Dallas erbjuder associerade examen och kandidatexamensprogram för modedesign , modemarknadsföring , inredning , grafisk design , mediakonst och animation , reklamdesign , bakning och bakverk , fotografi , webbdesign och interaktiva medier , digital filmskapande och video produktion , ljudproduktion och kulinarisk konst .
Historia
Art Institute of Dallas grundades 1964 som Dallas Fashion Merchandising College. Det döptes senare om 1978 till Fashion and Art Institute of Dallas. Ett år senare godkändes institutet att bevilja en Associate of Applied Arts Degree. 1984 förvärvades institutet av Education Management Corporation (EDMC) för att gå med i The Art Institutes och bär nu sitt nuvarande namn The Art Institute of Dallas. EDMC utökade The Art Institutes genom att investera i lokaler och utrustning, lägga till personal till fakultets- och studenttjänster och etablera en nationell marknadsföringsnärvaro. 1988 flyttade The Art Institute of Dallas till sin nuvarande anläggning i North Dallas. Den 18 oktober 2017 meddelade EDMC att de slutförde försäljningen av 31 Art Institute Schools, inklusive The Art Institute of Dallas, till Dream Center Foundation. Därefter övergick ägandet till Miami International University of Art & Design .
