Edward S. Casey (född 24 februari 1939 i Topeka, Kansas ) är en amerikansk filosof och universitetsprofessor. Han har publicerat flera volymer om fenomenologi , filosofisk psykologi och filosofin om rum och plats. Hans arbete citeras brett i samtida kontinental filosofi . Han är för närvarande Distinguished Professor of Philosophy vid Stony Brook University i New York och framstående gästfakultet vid Pacifica Graduate Institute .

Casey fick sin Ph.D. i filosofi från Northwestern University 1967, efter att ha studerat vid Yale University (BA, 1961). Före Stony Brook University undervisade han vid Yale, Pacifica Graduate Institute och University of California i Santa Barbara . Han har haft besöksutnämningar vid Rutgers University , New School for Social Research , Emory University , Amherst College och Williams College .
