Macrothelypteris är ett släkte av ormbunkar i familjen Thelypteridaceae , underfamiljen Phegopteridoideae, i klassificeringen Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group från 2016 (PPG I). Släktnamnet betyder 'stor Thelypteris '.
