Opalfisken , Hemerocoetes monopterygius , är en anknäbb av släktet Hemerocoetes , som bara finns runt Nya Zeeland, på djup mellan 5 och 200 meter (16 och 656 fot). Deras längd är mellan 10 och 25 centimeter (3,9 och 9,8 tum).
