Gig är det första livespelet av The Northern Pikes som släpptes 1993. Detta album spelades in under två nätter under turnén för att stödja Neptune . Efter turnén skulle bandet upplösas tills det reformerades 1999.

Livealbumet är en kombination av två "spelningar": 10 juni 1993 på Le Spectrum i Montreal och 11 juni 1993 i The Music Hall i Toronto. Showerna släpptes också på video i VHS-format, men detta är sedan länge slut.

Bandet fick stöd på turnén av Universal Honey , ett band som bildades av Johnny Sinclair och Leslie Stanwyck, båda tidigare från The Pursuit of Happiness . Leslie Stanwyck gick med bandet på scenen för att sjunga medsång på låten "Worlds Away".
