" Girls Ain't Nothing but Trouble " är debutsingeln av DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince , från deras 1987 debutalbum Rock the House som släpptes på Philadelphia-baserade Word Records (senare ändrat till Word-Up Records). Den släpptes 1986. Musiken är uppbyggd kring ett prov från temalåten från 1960-talets tv-serie I Dream of Jeannie . Det var med i det åttonde avsnittet av The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air där Will och Carlton slogs om en tjej. Texten "nothing but trouble" spelades in om av Jazzy Jeff i "Deep, Deep, Trouble" från The Simpsons Sing the Blues . I låten varnar Will Smith sitt team att hålla sig borta från unga kvinnor och berättar om några olyckliga (men humoristiska) upplevelser med dem. I slutet av 1988 års version refererar DJ Jazzy Jeff till två av duons ytterligare singlar, " Parents Just Don't Understand " och " Nightmare on My Street" . Låten släpptes bara på vinyl. Musikvideon släpptes 1986. Den 21 april 2016, efter Princes död , sände MTV av misstag denna musikvideo under ett Prince-maraton.
