Dendrobium amplum är en orkidéart som är infödd i Asien .

Det finns i Kina, Indien i Assam och Sikkim, östra Himalaya , Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand och Vietnam .

Orkidén är en liten, varm till kallväxande epifyt eller litofyt på mossiga kalkstensklippor, i semi-lövfällande och vintergröna skogar på höjder av 500–2 100 meter (1 600–6 900 fot).
