Distribution
Anoteropsis är främst känd från Nya Zeeland inklusive Chathamöarna, Snaresöarna och Aucklandöarna. Nya Zeeland har 27 arter av vargspindlar i 6 släkten. [ citat behövs ] Släktet Anoteropsis dominerar landet med bara 21 arter. En art, Anoteropsis virgata , är infödd i Polynesien .
