A Place in the World är det tredje studioalbumet av det australiensiska rockbandet The Black Sorrows . Albumet släpptes i november 1985. Alla spår skrevs av bandmedlemmarna Joe Camilleri och Nick Smith, förutom "Let the Four Winds Blow".

Recension

Canberra Times Debbie Cameron noterade att albumet var "en cocktail av stilar - från ett starkt pianodragspel och calypso-ljud i "A Place in the World", till bra dans i "Country Girls", genom en stenig men omärklig "The Final Touch" och till en tragisk "Sons of the Sea"". Även om Cameron föredrog Sonola , fann hon att A Place in the World hade "handlingen, takten och melodin av Ry Cooder ".
