Yukiko Koga (född 1969) är en antropolog som undervisar vid Yale University . Hon har tidigare undervisat vid CUNYs Hunter College . Hon är specialiserad på juridisk antropologi , stadsrum, postkoloniala och postimperialistiska relationer, historia och minne och transnationella Östasien (Kina och Japan).

Utbildning

Koga var en postdoktor i östasiatiska studier vid Brown University , specialiserad på kolonial och postkolonial kultur i ockuperade regioner som Manchuria och andra delar av Kina direkt efter andra världskriget . Hon fick ett National Endowment for the Humanities- anslag för att slutföra detta arbete.

Koga är författare till boken, Inheritance of Loss: China, Japan, and the Political Economy of Redemption After Empire (University of Chicago Press, 2016). 2017 vann Koga American Anthropological Associations Francis LK Hsu och Anthony Leeds bokpriser.

Hon tjänstgör för närvarande i redaktionskollektivet för Rice University journal positions: asia critique.
