Historia
Seabird Ultralight Aircraft grundades 1983 och började som tillverkare av ultralätta flygplan.
1986 bytte Seabird Ultralight Aircraft namn till Seabird Aviation Australia Pty Ltd och skapade sina egna produkter, prototypen Seabird SB5 Sentinel och certifierade Seabird SB7 Seeker-flygplan, föregångaren till det nuvarande Seabird Seeker - flygplanet.
2014 förvärvades Seabird Aviation Australia av Seeker Aircraft, Inc., ett helägt dotterbolag till ett USA-baserat flygföretag CSI Aviation .
2018 bytte Seabird Aviation Australia namn till Seeker Aviation Australia Pty Ltd.
I oktober 2019 flyttade Seeker Aviation Australia sin verksamhet från Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australien till Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

Seabird Aviation Jordan LLC, nu nedlagd, var Seabirds licenstagare i Jordanien , ansvarig för tillverkning och marknadsföring av Seabird Seeker-flygplan i Mellanöstern och Afrika.
