Richard Grathoff

Richard Helmut Grathoff (1934–2013) var en fenomenolog och professor emeritus vid institutionen för sociologi vid Bielefelds universitet , Tyskland . Född den 30 augusti 1934 i Unna , Westfalen , Tyskland , tog han sin doktorsexamen från New School for Social Research 1969 efter att ha studerat under Aron Gurwitsch , Thomas Luckmann och Peter L. Berger . Influerad av Charles Sanders Peirce , Edmund Husserl och Alfred Schutz , har hans arbete inkluderat forskning i ämnena miljö och livsvärld (" Lebenswelt ") och samtida samhällsteori. Han dog i Oerlinghausen , Tyskland den 10 november 2013.
