Richard DeWitt Miller (22 januari 1910 – 3 juni 1958) var en amerikansk författare av science fiction och Forteana . Hans första science-fiction-publikation var "The Shapes" som dök upp i Astounding Science Fiction 1936. Hans fackböcker inkluderar You Do Take It With You (1936) (en bok om Fortean-fenomen) samt The Mastery of the Master (1944), Impossible - Yet It Happened (även känd som Forgotten Mysteries: True Stories of the Supernatural , 1947), Stranger Than Life (1955), You Do Take It with You: An Adventure into the Vaster Reality (1955) och Reincarnation: The Whole Startling Story (1956). Miller skrev en science fiction-roman publicerad i mars 1938 av Astounding Science Fiction under titeln "The Master Shall Not Die" utan någon medarbetare; den gavs inte ut i bokform förrän 1956, när Ace Books tog ut den i sitt dos-à-dos- format Ace Doubles under titeln The Man Who Lived Forever , med medförfattaren Anna Hunger .
