Panteg AFC är en walesisk fotbollsklubb belägen i Griffithstown , Pontypool , Torfaen , södra Wales. Klubben grundades 1935 och driver för närvarande två seniorlag och ett ungdomslag på sin hemmaplan, Panteg House Sportsgrounds. Klubben spelar i Gwent County League Premier Division, nivå 4 i den walesiska fotbollspyramiden.
Historia
Panteg AFC bildades 1935 under namnet Baldwins Panteg (som blev RTB Panteg 1947 efter kriget), sedan Panteg 1969 som ett lag som representerade de lokala Richard Thomas och Baldwin Steelworks (tidigare Baldwin Steelworks), som spelade hemmamatcher på RTB Idrottsplats, men 1981 såldes tomten för att ge plats åt en större vägutbyggnad. Klubben flyttade sedan en halv mil bort till Panteg House Club & Sportsgrounds, där de har varit sedan dess.
Laget spelade i Gwent County League sedan säsongen 1999–2000, efter nedflyttning från The Welsh League men har nu flyttats tillbaka till Welsh League efter säsongen 2013–14.
Färger och märke
Panteg AFC:s färger är svart-vitrandiga skjortor, svarta shorts och svarta strumpor. Den andra remsan är helt rödbrun.
Panteg AFC-märket har en Phoenix och en sköld med bokstäverna "PAFC"
Hemmaplan
Panteg AFC spelar sina hemmamatcher på Panteg House Sportsgrounds. Området rymmer det huvudsakliga klubbhuset och idrottsplanerna för de många sport- och sociala klubbarna som är baserade på området.
