MariJo Moore
MariJo Moore är en författare av blandad Cherokee , holländsk och irländsk härkomst, som ofta använder indiansk kultur i sin poesi. Hon vann titeln Årets författare (2002) av Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers, ett av de mest prestigefyllda priserna i den indianska litterära världen.
Hon har redigerat flera samlingar, inklusive Eating Fire, Tasting Blood: Breaking the Great Silence of the American Indian Holocaust (2005) och Genocide of the Mind: New Writings by Native Americans (2002), "Unraveling the Spreading Cloth of Time: Indigenous Thoughts Concerning the Universe, Dedicated to Vine Deloria, Jr" (2014), och "When Spirits Visit: A Collection of Stories by Indigenous Writers" (2015).
