Tidigt liv

Barron tillbringade sina första år i Alaska . Han har beskrivit sin ungdom som oerhört hård eftersom hans familj var fattig och bodde i isolerade områden.

Karriär

I Alaska tävlade Barron Iditarod tre gånger under det tidiga 1990-talet och arbetade som fiskare på Berings hav .

Han drog sig tillbaka från racing och flyttade till Washington 1994. Han blev aktiv på poesiscenen, publicerade med ett antal online-tidskrifter och så småningom fungerade som chefredaktör för Melic Review .
