Kevin Lamar Evans (född 22 februari 1962) är en underhållningschef. Evans var Senior Vice President/Head of Urban Music Division på RCA Records ; President, Urban Music Division på All American Communications; och chef för Gospel och Urban Music A&R på A&M Records .
Liv och karriär
Evans gick på Georgia State University i Atlanta, där han studerade kommunikation. Han gick också på Columbia School of Broadcasting.
Evans signerade artister som Tyrese , Angie Stone , Rome , Kevon Edmonds , Freddie Jackson och Chantay Savage .
Evans hade ledande befattningar på RCA, A&M, Scotti Brothers/All American And Light Records, där han var en A&R-chef och övervakade artister som Janet Jackson , Barry White , James Brown , Amy Grant , 'N Sync , Robyn , SWV , Shirley Caesar , James Cleveland , Yolanda Adams , Commissioned , Fred Hammond , Beau Williams och Douglas Miller . Evans var med och skrev den topplistade singeln med titeln "Hold On", som ursprungligen släpptes på Yolanda Adams semesteralbum "What a Wonderful Time" 2007. Låten släpptes sedan på Hidden Beach Recordings samling 2008 inspirerad av Barack Obamas banbrytande presidentkampanj med titeln "Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement". Låten fanns också med i WOW Gospel 2008- samlingsserien som distribuerades genom Verity/Jive/Sony och EMI Music Christian Music Group. Detta album blev guldcertifierat i USA 2008 av Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
