John Farndon

John Farndon (född 1960) är en brittisk författare av böcker, pjäser och musik. Han är mest känd som författare av, och bidragsgivare till, vetenskapsböcker för barn.

Biografi

Farndon studerade geovetenskap och engelsk litteratur vid Jesus College, Cambridge University . Han är fellow i 'Royal Literary Fund' vid Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge).

Farndon beskrevs av Royal Literary Fund som "en författare av facklitteratur och en dramatiker, lyriker, kompositör och litterär översättare. Spårad av intensiv intellektuell nyfikenhet spänner hans intressen brett och han skriver om ämnen från kemi till Kina" .

2014 recenserade Daily Telegraph Farndons bok för "skulle vara" Oxbridge-studenter, tror du fortfarande att du är smart? , där han förklarar hur man tacklar den svåraste "obesvarbara" frågan och vinner en universitetsplats.

Enligt Royal Literary Fund har Farndon nominerats till rekord fyra gånger för juniorpriset Science Book.
