Dorion Sagan

Dorion Sagan (född 1959) är en amerikansk essäist, skönlitterär författare, poet och ekologiteoretiker. Han har skrivit och varit medförfattare till böcker om kultur, konst, litteratur, evolution och vetenskapens historia och filosofi , inklusive Cosmic Apprentice, Cracking the Aging Code och Lynn Margulis: The Life and Legacy of a Scientific Rebel. Hans bok Into the Cool, som skrivits tillsammans med Eric D. Schneider, handlar om förhållandet mellan termodynamik som inte är jämvikt och liv. Hans verk har översatts till 15 språk och citeras flitigt i kritisk teori sedan den "icke-mänskliga vändningen", i ny materialistisk teori och i feministiska vetenskapsstudier.

Familj

Sagan är son till astronomen Carl Sagan och biologen Lynn Margulis . Han har fyra syskon. Hans halvbror Nick Sagan är en science fiction-författare.
