Bruce Covilles Book of Monsters är den första i en serie "Book of"-antologier redigerad av Bruce Coville . Den publicerades första gången i september 1993 av Scholastic Publishing . Det är en samling berättelser som riktar sig till unga läsare som annonserar sig som "läskig", men som i själva verket innehåller en mängd olika berättelser och genrer som science fiction, skräck, fantasy och realistiska med några övernaturliga inslag. Översikt
Bruce Coville följde upp sin populära första bok med en rad andra övernaturliga eller sci-fi- ämnen för flera uppföljningar. Efter sex volymer i den första "Book of"-serien, var böckerna populära nog för att motivera uppföljare till varje volym. Coville använde också den utökade serien för att publicera en femdelad berättelse, "The Monsters of Morley Manor". Bokserien gavs ut från 1993 till 1997.
