Anthony Everitt

Anthony Everitt (född 31 januari 1940) är en brittisk författare. Han publicerar regelbundet i The Guardian och The Financial Times . Han arbetade inom litteratur och bildkonst. Han var generalsekreterare för Arts Council of Great Britain . Han är gästprofessor i scen- och bildkonst vid Nottingham Trent University . Everitt är en följeslagare till Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts och en hedersstipendiat vid Dartington College of Arts.

Everitt har skrivit böcker om romersk historia, bland annat biografier om Augustus , Hadrianus och Cicero och en bok om The Rise of Rome . Han bor i Wivenhoe nära Colchester .

Everitt läste engelsk litteratur vid University of Cambridge .
