Det finns fem seniora AFL-ligor för kvinnor i Queensland som styrs av AFL Queensland .

Queensland Australian Football League Women's (QAFLW) är den högsta ligan i delstaten och ger elitkvinnliga fotbollsspelare möjligheten att spela i en semiprofessionell miljö. Många spelare från denna liga har representerat sin stat, förtjänat All-Australian utmärkelser och deltagit i AFLW .

Den andra klassen av damfotboll i sydöstra Queensland är Queensland Football Association Women's (QFAW), som introducerades 2017. Denna tävling är utformad för att låta kvinnor som är nya i spelet utveckla sin fotbollsförståelse och sina färdigheter, och också ge nya klubbar en ingång till damfotbollen.
