Will Jacobs

Will Jacobs (född 1955) är en amerikansk serie- och humorförfattare. Han var medförfattare tillsammans med Gerard Jones på The Beaver Papers , The Comic Book Heroes och serietidningen The Trouble with Girls (1987–1993). Han var en bidragsgivare till National Lampoon magazine och olika DC Comics .

Från 1984 till 1986 skrev Jacobs och hans skrivarpartner Gerard Jones artiklar om seriernas silverålder för hobbytidningen Comics Feature . Från 1983 till 1988 var Jones och Jacobs bidragsgivare till National Lampoon magazine. 1984 publicerade paret The Beaver Papers ( Crown Publishers , 1984), en bok som parodierade TV-serien Leave It to Beaver . Och 1985 skrev de The Comic Book Heroes , en bok tillägnad den amerikanska serietidningsindustrins historia från silveråldern till nutid.

Jacobs lämnade professionellt skrivande på 1990-talet för att starta en begagnad och antikvarisk boktjänst, Avalon Books.

Han och Jones återvände till humoristisk fiktion 2014 med The Beaver Papers 2 (Atomic Drop Press) och My Pal Splendid Man (Atomic Drop Press, 2015).
