Victorian Softball Association
Kortfattad bakgrund
Softball introducerades först i Victoria under andra världskriget av amerikanska militärer stationerade i Melbourne som ett sätt att hålla kvinnliga sjuksköterskor i form.
Grundare av Victorian Softball Association inc. var Melbourne Softball Association inc. 1941–42 var detta den enda medlemmen fram till 1956 när Sunshine Softball Association inc. bildades av sergeant McLeod från Sunshine Police och Mr. Frank O'Brien från East Sunshine Youth Club.
Cirka 50 år framåt har Victorian Softball Association inc. har 18 Affiliates, på sin höjd fanns det totalt 22 Affiliates.
