Tony Cisek

Tony Cisek är en amerikansk scenisk designer .

Tidigt liv

1994 fick Cisek sin MFA i design från New York Universitys (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts .

Karriär

Efter att ha lämnat NYU samarbetade han med företag över hela USA inklusive Roundabout Theatre Company , Arena Stage , Guthrie Theatre , Goodman Theatre , Ford's Theatre , South Coast Repertory , Milwaukee Repertory Theatre , Portland Center Stage , Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park , Alliance Theatre , Actors Theatre of Louisville , Center Stage (theater) (Baltimore), Indiana Repertory Theatre , Syracuse Stage , New York Theatre Workshop , Cleveland Play House , Folger Theatre , The Kennedy Center , Round House Theatre , Studio Theatre (Washington, DC) , GALA Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival och Signature Theatre (Arlington, Virginia) .

Cisek samarbetade med ljusdesignern Dan Covey i mer än 40 produktioner i Washington, DC . De två formgivarna arbetade tillsammans på två Off-Broadway- produktioner, Beyond Glory (2007) och columbinus (2006).

Erkännande

Cisek fick fem Drammy Awards för Scenic Design för sitt arbete i Portland Center Stage . Produktionen av Sometimes a Great Notion visades i American Theatre magazine i september 2008.

Organisationen Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre (Theater Philadelphia) nominerade Cisek till tre utmärkelser för enastående scenisk design.

Cisek fick fyra Helen Hayes-priser för enastående scenisk design för sitt arbete i Washington, DC-området. Dessutom nominerades han åtta andra gånger för detta pris. Den fullständiga listan följer:
