Titeln hänvisar till ambrosia , de antika grekiska gudarnas mytiska mat och namnet på den kontroversiella livsmedelsprodukten som diskuteras i denna berättelse. Titeln skulle också kunna ses som en hyllning till romanen The Food of the Gods and How It Came to Earth av H. G. Wells .
