Suzanne Buffam

Suzanne Buffam är en kanadensisk poet , författare till tre diktsamlingar och docent i konstpraktik vid University of Chicago. Hennes tredje, A Pillow Book, utsågs av New York Times till en av de tio bästa poesiböckerna 2016. Hennes första, Past Imperfect (House of Anansi Press, 2005), vann Gerald Lampert Award 2006. Hennes andra , The Irrationalist (Carnarium Books, 2010), nominerades till 2011 års Griffin Poetry Prize . Hennes dikter har publicerats i litterära tidskrifter och tidskrifter inklusive The New York Times, Poetry, Jubilat, A Public Space, Denver Quarterly, Colorado Review, Books in Canada och Prairie Schooner ; och i antologier inklusive Breathing Fire: Canada's New Poets. Hon tog en MA i engelska från Concordia University i Montreal och en MFA från Iowa Writers' Workshop . Hon är född i Montreal och uppvuxen i Vancouver, BC, och bor i Chicago. Buffam var en domare för 2013 års Griffin Poetry Prize .
