Sir Thomas Cotton, 2:a baronet, av Combermere

Sir Thomas Cotton, 2nd Baronet (ca 1672 – 12 juni 1715) var en engelsk kamrat och officer av kronan .

Liv

  Han föddes som son till Sir Robert Cotton och Hester Salusbury, dotter till den kungliga politikern och soldaten Sir Thomas Salusbury . Sheriff av Cheshire från 1712 till 1713, efterträdde han till Cotton Baronetcy den 17 december 1712.

Familj

    Sir Thomas gifte sig med Philadelphia (5 maj 1675 – 30 december 1758), dotter och arvtagare till Sir Thomas Lynch , tre gånger guvernör på Jamaica , och hans första fru Vere Herbert, omkring 18 november 1689. Paret hade följande problem:

• Thomas Salusbury (ca 1691 – 1710), arvinge.
• Henry (född ca 1692), dog ung.
• Anne (född ca 1693), dog ung.
• Sir Robert Salusbury , ärvde sin fars titel som 3:e baronet.
• Philadelphia (född 19 mars 1698), gift med Thomas Boycott of Hinton, Shropshire

• John Salusbury (1708 – 1730)
• Sophia (ca 1704 – ca 1756), ogift.
• Sir Lynch Salusbury (ca 1706 – 14 augusti 1775), ärvde sin brors titel som 4:e baronet.
• Hester Maria (ca 1707 – 20 augusti 1733) gifte sig med John Salusbury av Bachecraig, Flint.
• Sidney Arabella (kvinna) (ca 1709 – 30 januari 1781), ogift.
• George Calveley (ca 1710–1715)
• William Salusbury (ca 1712 – ca 1715)
• Vere (kvinna) (ca 1713 – 23 september 1730)
• Henry Salusbury (ca 1714 – ?), dog ung.
