Historia
Riot House Records grundades 2010 av Brian Jenkins med syftet att släppa "rock and roll-skivor med grus och soul." Etiketten är en del av gruppen Independent Label Distribution, tillsammans med Sympathy for the Record Industry , Frontier Records och Tank Crimes.
I januari 2013 tillkännagavs att Interpols trummis Sam Fogarino hade bildat ett nytt band, EmptyMansions, som skrev på bolaget. Skivan med titeln ormar/gamar/sulfat producerades av Brandon Curtis ( The Secret Machines ) och har Duane Denison ( Tomahawk , The Jesus Lizard ) på leadgitarr.
Etikettens nuvarande aktiva lista inkluderar Rough Francis , Spencer Moody från The Murder City Devils , Porcupine och Buildings.
Riot House släpper sin första film, Records Collecting Dust "...en dokumentärfilm om musiken och skivorna som förändrade våra liv", vintern 2014. Filmen skrevs och regisserades av San Diego-musikern Jason Blackmore och innehåller intervjuer med Jello Biafra , Keith Morris , Chuck Dukowski , Mike Watt , John Reis och över 30 andra underjordiska rockikoner. Filmen innehåller också liveframträdanden från Jello Biafra och Guantanamo School of Medicine, The Locust och Big Business .
