Rikstäckande fotbollsår
The Nationwide Football Annual är en kompakt brittisk fotbollsreferensbok som produceras i början av varje fotbollssäsong. Den innehåller information från föregående fotbollssäsong, och innehåller även uppdaterade register som går tillbaka till början av organiserad fotboll på 1800-talet.
Denna publikation dök upp första gången 1887, producerad av Athletic News som en rival till Football Annual . Liksom den äldre publikationen, syftade den till att börja med att tillhandahålla täckning av alla fotbollskoder som är populära i England, inklusive rugbyfotboll (både rugbyunionen och rugbyligan efter att koderna splittrades) förutom föreningsfotboll.

Två sedan länge tidigare redaktörer var 'Tityrus' (annars JAH Catton, redaktör för Athletic News 1900–1924) och Ivan Sharpe (ca 1928–1956). Andra redaktörer eller gemensamma redaktörer som förekommer på omslagen eller titelsidorna inkluderar David Jack (1956–1958 – han gjorde också senare bidrag, inte att förväxla med den engelske fotbollsspelaren med samma namn); Malcolm Gunn (1958–1966); Frank Butler (1961–1982); Patrick Collins (1967–1977); Harold Mayes (1978); Charles Sampson (1983–1984); Albert Sewell (1983–1997); Bill Bateson (1985–1994) och Eric Brown (1998–1999).
Boken har innehållit ett antal illustrationer under många år, och sedan 1948 har dessa regelbundet inkluderat lagbilder av några av föregående säsongs mest framgångsrika sidor. Sedan 1985 har årligen också inkluderat mycket korta dödsannonser ("The Final Whistle") för utvalda före detta spelare och funktionärer som dött under de senaste tolv månaderna.
Efter tillbakadragandet av News of the World som sponsorer, uppstod Nationwide Building Society för att tillhandahålla ny sponsring 2008. Denna sponsring varade i två år, med titeln Nationwide Football Annual behölls efter sponsringens slut.
Faksimilkopior av Athletic News Football Annuals för 1887-88 till 1900-01 och 1915-16 till 1918-19, producerades av Association of Football Statisticians under 1980-talet.
