Richard Charles Sutton

Richard Charles Sutton var en arkitekt baserad i Nottingham . Han föddes 1834 och dog den 18 oktober 1915.

Han var medlem av Nottingham City Council från 1887 till 1901.

Karriär

Han blev föremål för Samuel Sanders Teulon och började självständig praktik i Nottingham 1857. Han gick i partnerskap med sin son, Ernest Richard Eckett Sutton, 1894. Han gick i pension 1906.

Han deltog i avrättningen av Richard Thomas Parker utanför Shire Hall, Nottingham den 10 augusti 1864. Detta var den sista avrättningen i Nottingham.

Han stod som liberal kandidat för Sherwood Ward of Nottingham Town Council i valet 1886 och vann.
