Michiko Itatani är en Chicago -baserad artist som föddes i Osaka , Japan. Efter att hon fått sin BFA (1974) och MFA (1976) vid School of the Art Institute of Chicago 1974 respektive 1976, återvände hon till sin alma mater 1979 för att undervisa på avdelningen för målning och teckning.
