Lee Andrews & the Hearts
Lee Andrews & the Hearts var en amerikansk doo-wop kvintett från Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , USA, bildad 1953. De spelade in på Gotham , Rainbow, Mainline, Chess , United Artists , Grand och Gowen. Under ledning av Kae Williams hade de 1957 och 1958 sina tre största hits, "Tear Drops", " Long Lonely Nights " och "Try the Impossible".

Lee Andrews föddes som Arthur Lee Andrews Thompson den 2 juni 1936 i Goldsboro, North Carolina . Han var far till Questlove ' Thompson och singer songwriter Donn T. Han var son till en sångare, Beachy Thompson från gospelmusikgruppen The Dixie Hummingbirds . Andrews dog den 16 mars 2016 vid 79 års ålder.
