Judith Veronica Field (född 1943) är en brittisk vetenskapshistoriker med intresse för matematik och vetenskapens inverkan på konst, en hedersgästforskare vid Institutionen för konsthistoria i Birkbeck, University of London , tidigare president för British Society för matematikens historia och ordförande för Leonardo da Vinci Society.

Utbildning och karriär

Field fick en doktorsexamen 1981 vid Imperial College vid University of London ; hennes avhandling, Keplers geometriska kosmologi , övervakades av A. Rupert Hall och blev senare en av hennes böcker.

Hon var ordförande för British Society for the History of Mathematics 1997–1999. Hon blev motsvarande medlem i International Academy of the History of Science 1988 och fullvärdig medlem 1998.
