John Ross (Nova Scotia-politiker)

John Ross (27 december 1820 – 1892) var en politisk gestalt i Nova Scotia , Kanada. Han representerade Victoria County i Nova Scotia House of Assembly från 1867 till 1874 som en liberal medlem. Han föregicks i församlingen av sin bror, William Ross , som representerade Victoria County från 1857 till 1867. På Confederation 1867 valdes hans bror William Ross att representera Victoria County i underhuset i Ottawa.

John Ross föddes i Churchville, Pictou County, Nova Scotia , son till John Ross. 1863 gifte han sig med Christina Isabell McKay. Han bodde på Little Bras d'Or i Cape Breton County, Nova Scotia . Han flyttade till New Glasgow, Nova Scotia 1876.
