Joel Lourie (född 24 september 1962) är en före detta demokratisk medlem av South Carolina Senate , som representerar 22:a distriktet från 2004 till 2017. Han var tidigare medlem av South Carolinas representanthus från 1998 till 2004.
Han är född och uppvuxen i Columbia, South Carolina och är en 1980 examen från Richland Northeast High School , en 1984 examen från University of South Carolina . Hans föräldrar är senatorn Isadore och Susan (Reiner) Lourie. Han är gift med Rebecca Baum och har två barn, Rachel och Sam.
