Jeffrey St. Clair (född 1959) är en undersökande journalist , författare och redaktör.

Biografi

St Clair föddes i Indianapolis, Indiana och gick på American University i Washington, DC , med engelska och historia som huvudämne. Han har arbetat som miljöorganisatör och författare för of the Earth Clean Water Action Hoosier Environmental Council.

1990 flyttade han till Oregon för att redigera miljötidningen Forest Watch . 1994 gick han med journalisterna Alexander Cockburn och Ken Silverstein på CounterPunch . Han var medredigerare av CounterPunch från 1999 till 2012 tillsammans med Cockburn fram till den senares död 2012. St. Clair har varit redaktör sedan 2012, tillsammans med chefredaktören Joshua Frank 2012.

St. Clair är en tidigare medverkande redaktör för månadstidningen In These Times . Han har även skrivit för The Progressive .

1998 publicerade han sin första bok, med Cockburn, Whiteout: the CIA, Drugs and the Press , en historia om CIA:s påstådda band till droggäng från andra världskriget till Mujahideen och Nicaraguan Contras .
