Skapande
Turneringen startade 1928 som en mellanstadstävling mellan städerna New York City , Philadelphia och Boston .
Före 1983 fanns det ingen nationell nivå intercollegiate Squash- turnering för kvinnor i USA . Collegelag började öka i popularitet och storlek, och ett sådant mästerskap på nationell nivå krävdes.
1955 donerade Virginia Griggs en permanent trofé, för att hedra Margaret Howe och hennes döttrar Betty och Peggy . Trofén och mästerskapet blev sedan känt som Howe Cup
Historia
1928 börjar mästerskapsturneringen i innerstaden sina första 5-personersmatcher.
1955 döps turneringen om till The Howe Cup för att hedra Margaret Howe och hennes tvillingdöttrar Betty Constable och Peggy White .
1958 skapades 'B Division' tillsammans med 'B'-trofén
1968 'C Division' etableras med donationen av 'C Trophy'.
2008 'D Division' skapades med trofén som kom samma år.
2009 på grund av cupens popularitet öppnades 4 divisioner. Divisionerna namngavs för att hedra inflytelserika kvinnliga college squashspelare. (Aggie Kurtz, Dale Walker och Patrica Epps)
