Horrocks konstruktion

I matematik är Horrocks-konstruktionen en metod för att konstruera vektorbuntar , särskilt över projektiva utrymmen , introducerad av Geoffrey Horrocks ( 1964 , avsnitt 10). Hans ursprungliga konstruktion gav ett exempel på en oupplöslig rank 2 vektorbunt över 3-dimensionell projektiv rymd, och generaliserar för att ge exempel på vektorbuntar av högre rang över andra projektiva rum. Horrocks-konstruktionen används i ADHM-konstruktionen för att konstruera instantons över 4-sfären .
