Gerald Niels Lund (född 12 september 1939) var en allmän auktoritet i Jesu Kristi Kyrka av Sista Dagars Heliga (LDS-kyrkan) från 2002 till 2008. Lund släpptes som allmän auktoritet och medlem av kyrkans andra kvorum i Kyrkan. Sjuttio den 4 oktober 2008.

Lund är också en populär LDS- fiktionsförfattare och har bland annat skrivit The Work and the Glory- serien samt Kingdom and the Crown- serien. Han har också skrivit flera teologiska facklitteraturverk för sista dagars heliga , inklusive Hearing the Voice of the Lord: Principles and Patterns of Personal Revelation (2008) och The Coming of the Lord (reprint 2005). Lund och hans fru Lynn är föräldrar till sju barn. Lund har också skrivit dikter som hans fru har tonsatt.

Innan han blev allmän auktoritet arbetade han i LDS Church Education System . Han verkade i kyrkan som stavspresident , biskop och grenspresident vid Missionary Training Center (MTC) i Provo , Utah . Bland andra uppdrag under sin tid som allmän auktoritet bodde han i Solihull , England i tre år medan han tjänstgjorde i ett områdespresidentskap .
