George Edward Harney
George Edward Harney (1840–1924) var en amerikansk arkitekt från det sena 1800-talet baserad i New York City .
Biografi
George Edward Harney föddes i Lynn, Massachusetts 1840. Han fick sin tidiga utbildning på kontoret för den lokala ingenjören Alonzo Lewis . 1863 flyttade han till Cold Spring, New York , med ett kontor i Newburgh , precis uppför floden. Han flyttade till New York City 1873 och samarbetade med William I. Paulding, deras firma Harney & Paulding, som bara varade det året. Strax efter tog Harney sin ritare William S. Purdy som delägare i företaget Harney & Purdy. De förblev associerade till åtminstone 1910.
Harney dog i New York City den 12 november 1924.
