Donald Read (31 juli 1930 – 1 oktober 2018) var en brittisk historiker. Han var emeritusprofessor i modern engelsk historia vid University of Kent och utsågs 1988 till att skriva Reuters auktoriserade historia . Read dog 2018 vid 88 års ålder i Blackpool.
