Dean Murphy
Dean Murphy är en australisk manusförfattare, producent och regissör.
Dean Murphy skrev, producerade och regisserade sin första film, "Just Cruising" vid 17 års ålder, han följde detta med en sitcom-pilot för Nine Network. 1992 skrev, producerade och regisserade han sin andra film innan han flyttade till LA för att skriva och utveckla projekt med producenten George Folsey Jr (Trading Places, Coming to America).
Dean återvände till Australien 1997 för att regissera sin tredje film och blev en av grundarna av Instinct Entertainment. Dean fortsatte med att producera "Till Human Voices Wake Us" med Guy Pearce och Helena Bonham Carter i huvudrollerna, medförfattare, producerar och regisserar Paul Hogan, Michael Caton-filmen "Strange Bedfellows", (som tog $5 000 000 på Australian box office) producerar den amerikanska thrillern 'Torn', barn-DVD-serien 'Zokky – The Kangaroo' och producerar långfilmsdokumentären 'Salute'. 2009 regisserade Dean Paul Hogan , Shane Jacobsons film "Charlie & Boots", följt upp av att vara med och skriva Kevin "Bloody" Wilsons "Little Johnny". 2012 regisserade Dean ABC-telefilmen "Cliffy", ABC-dokumentären "Hanging with Hoges" och har producerat liveteater inklusive "Mother & Son" med Noeline Brown och Shane Jacobson i huvudrollerna och "An Evening with Hoges" med Aussie Icon i huvudrollen , Paul Hogan. Dean regisserade också ABC/Opera Australia-projektet "The Divorce" med Marina Prior, Lisa McCune, Hugh Sheridan och Kate Miller Heidke i huvudrollerna.
2017 skrev och regisserade Dean 'That's Not My Dog' med 30 av Australiens största stjärnor inom komedi. Filmen, som distribueras av Transmission Films, kommer att ha biopremiär 2018.
