Dean "Deano" Downing (född 24 januari 1975) är en engelsk pensionerad cykelracer , specialiserad på landsvägscykling som senast cyklade för NFTO Pro Cycling . Downing utbildades vid Wales High School och Sheffield Hallam University , där han tog examen 1998 med en examen i Construction Management. Han red för DFL-Cyclingnews-Litespeed- laget 2006 och är äldre bror till den tidigare brittiska mästaren Russell Downing . 2004 representerade han Storbritannien vid ban-VM .

För säsongen 2007 red Downing för det ursprungliga Rapha Condor-laget och fokuserade på den brittiska Premier-kalendern . 2008 blev laget Rapha-Condor-Recycling.co.uk. Efter att ha tillbringat sex år med Rapha Condor-truppen flyttade Downing till det nya Madison-Genesis-laget för 2013. I september 2013 tillkännagavs att Russell och Dean Downing skulle gå med i det nya NFTO-cykellaget för 2014. Downing drog sig tillbaka från tävlingen efter att ha tävlat på 2014 Sheffield Grand Prix, nära hans hemstad Rotherham. Efter att ha gått i pension blev han sportdirektör för Polypipe Cycling Team 2015. Efter att laget upplöstes i slutet av året tog Downing upp en DS-roll med sitt tidigare lag JLT-Condor för 2016. I januari 2018 tillkännagavs Downing som DS och prestation tränare för det nyupplivade Holdsworth- laget.
