David Solkin

David Hersh Solkin , FBA (född Montreal, 16 mars 1951) är Walter H. Annenberg professor i konsthistoria vid Courtauld Institute , som han gick med 1986. 2007 blev Solkin institutets första dekanus och biträdande direktör. Solkin är expert på JMW Turners konst .

Han utbildades vid Harvard College (AB), The Courtauld Institute of Art (MA) och Yale University (PhD, 1978).

År 2002 tilldelades Solkin William MB Berger-priset för utställningen och katalogen Art on The Line: The Royal Academy Exhibitions at Somerset House 1780–1836 ( The Courtauld Gallery, London, 2001–2).
