David Philip Miller
David Philip Miller FRHistS FAHA är en social vetenskapshistoriker. Han är professor emeritus i historia och vetenskapsfilosofi vid School of Humanities and Languages vid University of New South Wales , Australien .
Karriär
Miller studerade kemi och kärnfysik samt vetenskap och teknikpolitik för en BSc (Hons) vid Manchester University och tog sin MA och PhD i historia och vetenskapssociologi från University of Pennsylvania . Han har undervisat vid University of New South Wales sedan 1981.
Han är stipendiat i Royal Historical Society , Australian Academy of the Humanities och motsvarande medlem i International Academy of the History of Science . Han sitter på redaktionsråd för tidskrifterna Isis , Annals of Science , History of Science och The British Journal for the History of Science .
