Bakgrund
Betty Branch tog sin Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art (1979) och Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (1987) från Hollins University och avslutade ytterligare studier med konstnärerna Denis Knight och Georgiana Mailoff, och vid Miles och Generalis Sculptural Services. Hon bor och arbetar i Roanoke, Virginia .
